I'm taking off for the weekend this evening to see my sister's graduation up in Nanaimo. Saturday I'll be headed back with Amanda for Cam's birthday and such. If you haven't been invited to it yet then let me know!

World Cup Scoreboard App

Microsoft has released the Microsoft Soccer Scoreboard 2006. It's pretty configurable and shows the status of every game with many statistics such as goals, cards and standings. Pick your favorite team and track their progress through the 2006 World Cup.

I'm going to cheer on the Netherlands and, of course, Brazil. I watched some of Brazil vs. Croatia with a couple hundred Brazil fans at work. They had some Brazilian dancing and music to kick-off the excitement. I'm pretty stoked to go visit Brazil someday so I'm trying to pick-up some Portuguese. Maybe Mottie has some tips since he visited there for over a month last year.
